Y5 Environmental Awareness

Year 5 completed an Environmental Awareness Project from the Manchester Society of Architects.
This year the children focused on outside buildings, chossing areas and viewpoints they found interesting. Afterwards they produced captions to go with their photos. Click here to see them.

The boards of photographs are also on display at the Castlefield Gallery, Manchester exhibition. The MSA Design Awards exhibition is open to the public from Thursday 2 to Thursday 16 May (Castlefield Gallery opening hours: Wed-Sun, 1-6pm)

Israel Experience

Year 6 are having a fantastic time on the Israel experience. They have stayed in Kibbutz Lavi for 4 nights, visited Kfar Kedem for a Mishnaic experience, dressed up as bees at the Silk and Honey Farm and been on a boat cruise on the Kinneret.
