What we do at KIDZONE

Children enjoy a wide range of activities, including board games, Lego, dressing-up, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. We also offer structured sessions such as dance competitions, treasure hunts, sports, craft projects, and cooking or baking.

Children are actively encouraged to share their ideas and preferences, with staff listening and responding to their suggestions. This helps shape activities and resources, creating a fun, inclusive environment that reflects children’s interests and supports their well-being.

Our aim is to help children feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home after a busy school day.

Healthy snacks and drinks are provided in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Please let us know if your child has any special dietary requirements.

For more information, please contact our leader:

Kate Seager – 07469 706226 – please note that the club mobile is only manned during club hours. Text messages and voicemails can be left at any time.

Bookings can also be made via admin@marplechildcare.co.uk

All children must be registered with KIDZONE (i.e. completed a registration form) prior to a booking being accepted.

Child Protection

We take child protection very seriously. Any suspected abuse will be reported immediately to Children’s Social Care and the Stockport Safeguarding Board.

All staff are trained in Paediatric First Aid (full 12-hour course).

What Ofsted said at our latest inspection report published on June 26, 2025:

“Kidzone @ North Cheshire Jewish School provides a welcoming and safe environment where children are happy, settled, and respectful. The provision meets all requirements, featuring meticulous organisation of equipment and high-quality staff interactions that encourage positive behaviour.”

Key Takeaways from the June 2025 Inspection:

  • Setting: A nurturing "family atmosphere" where children feel safe.
  • Activities: Staff actively incorporate children’s ideas into play, including active games like football and bubble chasing.
  • Behaviour: Children are polite, respectful, and encouraged by positive staff role models.
